As publisher JoWood Entertainment announced today that on the 25th February 2011, the new addon Painkiller - Redemption will be published as a continuation of the Painkiller franchise. The two heroes of the predecessor, Daniel and Belial, only sees once again the battle between good and evil.

Only today the release date of Painkiller was - Redemption announced. After publisher JoWood the addon will be released on 25 February 2011 and will expand with different features the franchise. The publisher promises it next to a playing time of 7-10 hours an intuitive map editor, 6000-10000 Monster Map and an atmospheric soundtrack that accompanies match the action on the screen.

"It requires quite a bit of skill to confront the countless hordes of monsters - good that you provided is a completely crazy arsenal of weapons," said Markus Reutner, International Product Marketing Manager at JoWooD.
